Recently, we conducted an in-house test on our EI30 fire-resistant glass system, demonstrating once again how vital fire resistance is for both our team and our clients.

How the Test Was Conducted

• A 16 mm thick EI30 Procural glass was placed on our test stand.

• After wearing protective gloves and safety goggles, we applied flames directly to the glass.

• Around the 10th minute, we observed the glass turning white.

Inside the glass, a special gel and foam layer was activated, preventing heat, smoke, and flames from passing through. While the fire-exposed side endured intense flames, the rear side remained safe.

Our team members stood safely behind the glass, touching the surface to directly test its durability. No heat transfer, splintering, or smoke leakage occurred.

Resistance Times & Application Areas

Our EI30 test was just one example. With Procural systems, it is possible to achieve resistance of 60, 90, and even 120 minutes, depending on the project needs.
