Where Real Performance Begins
During fire tests, Procural systems clearly demonstrate a holistic engineering approach. When exposed to fire, the glass gradually becomes opaque in a controlled manner, limiting heat transfer. This opacity is not a weakness; on the contrary, it is a clear indication that the system is performing exactly as intended. At the same time, the aluminum profiles retain their form, showing no deformation, separation, or behavior that could compromise system integrity.
At this stage, the Procural system proves that it is not merely a collection of individual products, but the result of correct engineering, proper material selection, and a well-designed system concept.
After the Test
The visual outcome after fire tests is often striking.
The glass is no longer transparent; it has turned opaque. However, the success of fire-resistant systems is not measured by aesthetic appearance, but by the role they fulfill during and after the fire.
After testing, Procural systems:
-
Remain in place
-
Continue to perform their compartmentation function
-
Prevent the spread of fire to other areas
-
Limit the transfer of flames, smoke, and heat
-
Provide critical time for safe evacuation
📄 EI – EW – E Classifications: Proven on Site
Fire resistance classifications are expressed in minutes and technical values within test reports.
E (Integrity):
Prevents the passage of flames and smoke to adjacent spaces.
EW (Integrity + Radiation):
Prevents flame passage while limiting heat radiation.
EI (Integrity + Insulation):
Prevents flame passage and provides thermal insulation, keeping the temperature on the unexposed side under control.
(This is the highest level of protection.)
Procural systems demonstrate not only the theoretical definitions of these classes on paper, but their real-world performance during actual fire conditions through rigorous testing.
ACP Structural Components Perspective
In Procural systems:
-
Pre-test engineering
-
Performance during the test
-
Post-test integrity
are not treated as separate elements, but as inseparable parts of a single safety chain.
A fire is the moment when systems reveal their true nature.
Procural does not remain silent in these moments; it speaks through its performance.
As ACP Structural Components, we have never viewed fire resistance as a mere formality. Because we know that every glazed aluminum system used in a building is not just an architectural element, but a safety component that directly impacts human life.
Our responsibility as ACP is not only to offer the phrase “fire-resistant” to our clients, but to clearly, transparently, and verifiably demonstrate what this term truly means during a real fire scenario.
Because for us, fire safety is an approach that:
-
Begins after the sale,
-
Is not limited to test reports,
-
And most importantly, places human life at its core.
