What is EI120?
EI120 is a classification according to the EN 13501-2 standard, offering fire resistance for 120 minutes.
It has two main components:
E – Integrity: Prevents the passage of flames, smoke, and hot gases for 120 minutes.
I – Insulation: Prevents the transfer of heat to the other side for 120 minutes and provides critical time for evacuation.
